Swim, Stroke & Safety Programs

Infant Survival

Our students, as young as 6 months old, learn the crucial skill of rolling themselves over to an independent back float to rest and breathe. For infants and toddlers who are not yet walking, we teach them how to maintain this position until help arrives. This fundamental skill is just as important for older students as they continue to learn new skills and build confidence in the water.

As toddlers and young children develop more physical skills and begin to walk, they are ready to learn more skills in the water. Children learn to swim a short distance, roll to a back float to catch their breath, and return to swim until they reach safety or side of the pool. Our experienced instructors work with children of all abilities to foster confidence and build essential water safety skills that can last a lifetime.

Stroke Lessons & More

We offer stroke lessons for swimmers looking to enhance their technique and improve their performance in the water. Our experienced instructors work with swimmers of all levels to help them refine their strokes, increase their speed, and build endurance. Whether you’re a competitive swimmer or simply looking to improve your technique, our stroke lessons can help you achieve your goals. Join us today and take your swimming to the next level!

Client Testimonials

We love hearing from you!

My wife and I enrolled our daughter in swim lessons here when she started walking, at 9 months old. This place is great! All the instructors love what they do and couldn’t have been better. Great place. If you’re looking for infant survival or swim lessons for toddlers I can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much from Billy Melissa and Lucy.

In my opinion Aqua Journeys is the best place, hands down, to teach your child to swim and build confidence. Frankly I was skeptical because the lessons cost more than what I was used to paying and also shorter, 10-15 minutes long. Last year I spent many weeks/months mostly in private lessons at a public pool and at a private house and saw zero progress. I even enrolled them in some group lessons thinking they would try and mimic the kids that could swim better but nothing was working. Both my girls started at Aqua Journeys still terrified of putting their head in the water and very apprehensive altogether. After the first day….”[ read more ].”
